IR Illuminator is a device that creates a narrow, intense beam of coherent light, can be pulsed or continuous, and can operate in the infrared, visible and ultraviolet spectrum. Lasers in the infrared spectrum are invisible to the naked eye but are visible using certain Night Vision Devices.

The ATPIAL-C is also a low profile LASER system that mounts to any standard M1913 Picatinny Rail. The glass-reinforced housing is made with high-strength polymer which makes the body housing very robust and impact resistant. Featuring an ergonomic dial selector for changing the output settings on top of the housing, activation is achieved via the included remote pressure pad or onboard pushbutton. The battery compartment is in the back which makes changing batteries simple and convenient, even when the unit is pushed all the way forward against a standard AR Front Sight Base. Windage and elevation adjustments simply requires a small flat head screw driver to produce positive clicks.
